My Daughter's Bracelet-Butterfly Baby Blue

As a mompreneur, I'm often juggling my business as my home studio is well at home. One of the ways, that I "entertain" both my children but especially my daughter is let them put designs together. My daughter, Brittney, loves putting beads on headpins so mom can make earrings but I just love this little bracelet that she designed with a little help from mom.
I found this really cute brass and sparkly enamel butterfly at the Houston Quilt Show (my other addiction!). She choose the swarovski crystals and aquamarine chips to finish the design and patiently put all those on the beading wire herself!! :) I helped with the clasp but didn't she do a great job! Aw yes, proud mom moment.

When I was out at Canton this past weekend for First Trade Mondays, I did a little survey asking "mom's' what they thought was a hot accessory.I surveyed over a 100 women ranging in age from mid 20's to early 40's.

Here are the TOP 3 jewelry picks for Mother's Day.....

1.The top jewelry pick was STRUT a peacock freshwater pearl asymmetrical necklace with silver textured links.

2.The 2ND top jewelry pick was Amour a white freshwater pearl asymmetrical necklace with silver rings.

3. The 3rd top jewelry pick was Treasure & Treasure II which are silver heart pendants with 3 authentic diamond beads (black or blond).

Pearls and diamonds....were the top jewelry accessory picks by 100 moms for Mother's Day.

First Trade Mondays-Retail Market in Canton Texas

Wow, what a beautiful if not good ol' hot and humid Texas day at First Trade Monday's in Canton, Texas.

I was at my regular spot which is Trade Center IV (the newest trade center), booth 10 and have new neighbors.

Deborah selling these really cool Mini Masseuse and Lilly with her handcrafted soy candles. The Mulberry Candle smells good enough to EAT!! YUM. Lilly will be getting a website at the end of the month and I will share it with y'all when she gets it up and runnning.

Had a few regulars stop by today to check out the Mother's Day Specials on jewelry. It is always nice to meet with my regulars and get feedback.

Tomorrow, I am going to bring my supplies and work on some new designs for May. Keep a watch on the blog for those with special pricing.
