Silver Bali Heart & Black Mother of Pearl Nugget Necklace

Jewelry lovers beware this one is a gorgeous must have. The asymmetrical design has a silver textured bali heart bead on one side and black mother of pearl nuggets and silver spacers on the other side. The chain is antiqued and textured as well. This could be worn with about anything!
Treat yourself to a little heart or maybe even Mom; it would make an awesome Mother's Day gift.

Jewelry Purse Necklace

I just love this necklace and pendant. The purse is simple but makes a bold statement.
This is a great way to pick out jewelry. Look for something that is simple but will pack a punch or wow others with either it's uniqueness, design, etc...
This is one of my favorite ways to design since I love creating original pieces; I will take a ready to wear silver, gold or gold-filled chain and put all my creative juices into the pendant design which is the focal point.

Aquamarine-Is your Birthday in March?

Designing-Diva Jewelry has a gorgeous March birthstone necklace with faceted aquamarine rondelles.

Did you know? Derived from the Roman word "Aqua," meaning water, and "mare," meaning sea, this pale blue gem does indeed resemble the color of seawater.

Information on Aquamarine
Aquamarine is colored by trace amounts of iron in the crystal structure. Naturally occurring deep blue stones are the most prized because they are rare and expensive. However, most aquamarine gemstones are yellow beryl* stones that have been heated to change them to blue aquamarines.

(*Other gemstone color varieties that belong to the beryl family include emerald, morganite, and heliodor.)

Silver Gypsy Pendant

If I were a gypsy, I would use a beautiful silver ball to read fortunes. Well, I'm not a gyspy and I don't read fortunes, but I did create this really simple but stunning silver gypsy pendant. The ball is a handmade bali bead with breathtaking detail.

I will be retailing this pendant for $35 at Designing-Diva Jewelry but if you act fast (HINT! HINT! and e-mail me it will be yours for $30.)

Turquoise Tablet

This gorgeous stabilized turquoise pillow shaped tablet was wire wrapped with a silver celtic cross and jasper beads. Have to give a shout out to my pal, Mrs E., who donated the tablet to my jewelry stash! :)

The Diva in the Press

Are you looking for a piece of jewelry that you would like be able to wear year after year and possibly even pass down as an hierloom to be worn?

The Diva wrote a great jewelry article about how you can choose jewelry today that will never end up unloved at the bottom of your drawer.

Do you have any pieces that you inherited? I would love to hear about them!
