Crocheted Peridot Crystal Knot Necklace

I just love the look of crocheted silver wire ( I used 28 guage dead soft round sterling 925). For this knot design, I crocheted adding peridot colored crystals and freshwater pearls. The crochet wire was then wire wrapped and attached to 2 round hammered rings.

Aquamarine-Is your Birthday in March?

Aquamarine is colored by trace amounts of iron in the crystal structure. Naturally occurring deep blue stones are the most prized because they are rare and expensive. However, most aquamarine gemstones are yellow beryl* stones that have been heated to change them to blue aquamarines.
