Inspired by an "ice-winter"contest at the blog, Art Bead Scene. I wanted to create a fused glass cabochon that captured the "sparkle" of ice crystals on a sunny day so I used a pastel pink background with a patterned clear dichroic glass.....and boy does it sparkle. I really wanted the "glass cab" to pop so I used a contrasting color that is "cool"-blue. I used ice chips....ok, so theyr'e not really ice chips but auqamarine! I used aqua colored suede and sterling circles to complete the look. Here's to winter and ice....Pastel Ice that is!
