I confess I'm a "cold" wimp; it has only been in the 30's in N. Texas for a few weeks and I'm ready for spring already. So, I fired up the kiln to create a little spring and to keep warm! ;)
I used Bullseye Spring Green & Deep Pink collage glass with the very center being irridized neo-lavender .
I slumped the plate using one of the molds I created from Kaiser Lee Board. The edges have grooves so the plate has "grips".
Anyone else fantasizing about warmer weather?

Slumping Experiment-small plate with 2 layers of fused glass
I just purchased a 3 3/8" square mold to slump glass with. I want to make some Christmas presents for family & friends.
I used two layers of glass for the small plate but did NOT prefuse them together because I wanted to see what would happen. The bottom clear layer shows on the edge and the outer edges on all sides pulled so the dish is not square. I love my "experimental" design and the plum colored glass is so pretty when light shines through it
I will take a picture later today to share!
