The Urban Jungle's occupants often leave their mark on this world by writing on the wall so why not me as an urban artist? Not exactly a wall but I'm not destroying property either! ;)
I've used irridized glass with two shades of red and splashes of black to create a graffiti inspired fused glass pendant. I used fiber felt to create a channel for the necklace or cord.
So, how's that for writing on the wall?
"Hot and Fresh" and no this is not a Krispy Kreme call (if you're not from the South, just ignore this comment!).....I mean it is just freshly baked out of the kiln. I just love the "land/sea" or "desert" look that the cocoa chocolate and aqua glass inspires.
I just added this design to the jewelry boutique with options. Cause we all like choices right?! You can order your original art glass pendant with Greek Leather Cord , 16 inch or 18 inch sterling chain. How cool is that!

This is an example of a fused glass pendant that I recently sold. I created the pendant with a hole by using a bead mandrel dipped in bead release prior to fusing. I then took sterling silver wire and inserted it into the hole with ~.75 inches sticking out on either side... 
...I created loops with my round nose pliers and slid on split rings with the oxidized chain added. I then wire wrapped the loops and voila...a fused glass pendant on a beautiful chain ready to sell.
Here is another fused glass pendant. I did not fused it with fine sterling silver. I thought I would let the customer choose a glue on bail (sterling silver or base metal (silver or gold)) or maybe I will set it in a bezel.....
My only concern is if I set it in a bezel the price will really go up...
Thoughts anyone?
