New Art Glass Decor Design: Fused Glass Business Card Holder

I've just added a new fused glass business card holder design that I hope you'll love! I've created my own mold using Kaiser Lee Board so this is a Diva Art Glass Original!

It is ~ 3 3/4 x 4 3/4 inches and can be made in a variety of colors and options (more than one color and frit decoration).

As each is business card holder is cut by hand, please allow for slight variations in the glass when it slumps.

I used Bullseye 90 COE Streakies Royal Purple, Powder Blue Opal to create the design shown. My husband loved it so much he snagged it for the office!

Sea Inspired Fused Glass Business Card Holder

I love the way this fused glass business card holder turned out. It was a 2 step process:

• First, I created my own art glass by full fusing assorted fine frit (blue & green) onto clear art glass (BE 90 COE).
• Once that was annealed & cooled, I added an accent (a little blue-green rectangle frit cast) and placed this on my Kaiser Lee Board mold I shaped to create the business card holder. I then "draped" fused the glass over the Kaiser Lee Mold and let it anneal for strength and durability.
• I will probably add "feet" of some kind so the glass won't scratch any desk top surfaces.

These are fun & quick to make....I can't wait to make a Diva (fleur de lis) designed biz card holder for my display booth and office!

Fused Glass Business Card Holder

I am experimenting with Kaiser Lee Board to create fused glass business card holders for my Diva Art Glass Line that is way behind schedule.

This has a very organic & artsy looking as there aren't "straight lines" to the glass. It is wavy and has a real funky looking dichroic glass embellishment on the front.

It is maybe a little too big for a business card holder ? Thoughts? It could double as a napkin holder! See, there are NO mistakes only design opportunities! :)
