I've always loved vintage time pieces and so I decided to create my own vintage inspired watch using modern findings.

The watch face that I found has swarovski crystals and small little metal balls to resemble the pave diamond look without the price! I purchased this watch face from Auntie's Beads in Grapevine for under $11!
I used grey faceted ab czech crystals and an antiqued sterling silver toggle to complete my watch inspired by vintage style.

One of my favorite local bead shops in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex is
Auntie's Beads. It is located in Grapevine On Main Street which is a fun place to hang out with your family and friends. ;) There are lots of little shops and a few places to eat.

The reason I like Auntie's so much is that their prices are reasonable and when I'm in a pinch and only need one to two of a bead I can still make my designs and earn a living.

Plus, they often get limited selections of some fun and unusual beads whether it be in porcelain, cat's eye or glass.

If you are a beginner beading enthusiast, they also offer classes. Plus, as you walk around the store, you will see many designs that will inspire you! ;)
