I am so happy with the way this sushi plate turned out. I got a new ceramic mold and prepped it with kiln wash (prevents glass from sticking).
I used two layers of glass-an olive green and black Mardi Gras (frit and streamer) from Bullseye. I added three green aventurine stringers.
This plate went through 2 fusings and I used the flip and fire method for a crisp look.
This 6" square plate is colorful and would look fab as wall art too (when not in use !).
If you would like to purchase, head on over to the Dallas Designing-Diva's Etsy shop. I'm in the process of redesigning my shopping cart so it is not on the regular e-commerce site!
