As I'm helping Blake & Brittney, create their Valentine boxes I can remember just how exciting it was to cut , paste & decorate that shoe box! It was just as much fun to decorate the box as it was to read all the Valentine's from friends! It is one of my favorite holidays of the year.
Whilst at the library the other day, the kids and I found a darling book called Queen of Hearts by Mary Engelbreit. I didn't even realize she wrote children's books! Brittney totally empathized with Anna Estelle who spent so much time creating her extra special Valentine's box that she completely forgot about making Valentine's for her friends! OOPS...but with a little creative thinking she manages to save the day!And guess what Brittney wrote on her Valentine's Day box? You guessed it-Queen of Hearts!
Ok, I'm off to bake and NOT glass. It's heart shaped sugar cookies and cupcakes for party time tomorrow. Yum. Yum.P.S.
If you're shopping for Valentine's Day gifts and live in a major US metroplex your items will still be on time for V-day if you use the Express shipping method through 2pm CST today!
