Happy Labor Day from the Dallas Designing-Diva

Brittney and Blake have no school today so they are pumped and in Nintendo DS heaven. I'm surprised they haven't asked to do a Krispy Kreme doughnut run for a little "hot and fresh".

My two little helpers are helping me wash some glass cabochons that I cut and fused last night in the kiln. Blake made his own little piece of art and that's why he is so anxious for me to open it up. Can you hear the "Is it ready yet?".....;)

I'm experimenting with more "prong" and "turtle" settings for the glass cabochons. I also have some ceramic fibre ordered and will be creating some original molds that I can use the ceramic fibre to create holes in the cabochons so I don't have to use the diamond drill bit which seems to take a long time to me! :)

Hope you have a fantastic Labor Day. I'm using mine to hang out with my family and catch up a little.
