I'm a little late heading out to Canton this morning to get set up. We had a really bad storm come through with winds in excess of 80mph in North Texas last night. We were on tornado watch until 10pm CST and flash flood until this early morning. We have some trees that were damaged (our poor little apple tree) but are very grateful that our home and neighborhood has no real permanent damage!!
I saw some interesting things in the news today whilst watching to see all the damage in N. Texas....
Buy the Arco Valley Pearl
If you have a cool 8 million laying around, why don't you bid on the largest pearl that is 3.1 inches long. The Arco Valley Pearl is up for sale and is truly priceless.
Rare Jewels Found in Bolivian Pyramid
Once upon a time, I wanted to be an archaeologist and I love to watch the history channel. Today in the news, rare jewels alongside a skeleton and llama were found. This is HUGE as there is so much looting in South America that archaeologist's usually find DESTROYED sites. This is so awesome...I can not wait until they release pictures of their finds.
